Taliesin Knot

Taliesin Knot
Taliesin is both a mythical figure and a sixth-century Welsh poet. In the medieval Welsh tales of The Mabinogi Taliesin pursuedby the goddess Ceridwen, shape-changes from hare to salmon to crow and finally to a grain of corn, which Ceridwen - in the form of a great hen - swallows. Ritually reborn and then cast out upon the ocean, Talesin is found in the sacred salmon weir, transformed through rebirth in the waters of spirit into the great magician, shaman,  and prophet to channel the gift of the arts and inspiration.
